The FCS Shrine is our landing spot for the absolute best that the league has to over. Here you will find 5+ years of history as we vote on and highlight the most elite to ever do it. Each offseason we will elect 3 year-specific players to be inducted into the FCS Shrine. Do your elite stars have what it takes to forever be enshrined in FCS immortality?
2020 CLASS
Our inaugural class! Is it telling that the first two players to be enshrined in FCS glory are both running backs? Is it truly the most impactful position? We'll leave that up for debate. What we can't leave up for debate is how dominate these two were during their respected seasons. These Eastern Conference backs will go down in history, and for good reasons.
2021 CLASS
We have now stepped away from the RB stack to focus on something else - two of the best to ever do it at their position in the FCS. First is Lamar who broke the all time points record in 2019 all while leading his IceCats to their first ever Victor Bowl. Alongside him is hands down the best tight end we've ever seen. But will this be the only time Kelce's name grazes this list?
2022 CLASS
We are back with a vengeance as two players in 2021 break out to crush their all-time position records. JT emerged from the pack and quickly separated himself in route to an MVP award, all at the expense of Kupp having the best receiver season every but falling just short of bringing home some hardware for the wideouts. These two got in here quick and rightfully so.
2023 CLASS
For the first time ever we have two MVP's in the same class but with very different stories. Todd Gurley had one of the most forgettably all time great seasons in FCS history in 2018, so this is long overdue for him. On the other side we have a more recent historically dominant performance in Hurts who broke the all time scoring record with the Rippers.
